What You'll Do

We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated individual to join our team as the Market Research Analyst. As a Market Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our consulting projects by providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to assist our clients in making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth research by sifting through publicly available data and Paid Research of Acumen and clients, to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities or threats.
    • Conduct research on specific market conditions.
  • · Competitor Analysis:
    • Assess competitors' overall strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to help clients gain a competitive advantage.
    • Assess competitors’ market positioning including communication messages, digital channels being used and other social presence
    • Monitor and report on competitor activities, product launches, company investments and key people movements.
  • Client Support:
    • Collaborate with consulting teams to understand client needs and provide relevant market insights to inform strategic recommendations.
    • Develop and deliver clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate research findings to clients.
  • Data Collection and Management:
    • Utilize various research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and secondary research, to gather relevant data.
    • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data collected, and maintain organized databases for easy retrieval.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and technological advancements relevant to our clients' businesses.
    • Contribute to thought leadership within the company by sharing insights and participating in knowledge-sharing activities.

Who You'll Work With

You will report directly to Commercial Strategy Program Director and work alongside various internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in market research and analysis
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to handle large volume of data and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using market research tools, data analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
