What You'll Do
As a Organization Transformation Strategist in Acumen’s Organization Transformation Practice, you and your consulting team will enable client leadership teams to enhance their organization for peak performance, ensuring seamless execution of business strategies.
Key responsibilities of a Organization Transformation Strategist include:
- Work collaboratively with the consulting team (client director, project manager, subject matter experts) to deliver value to the client.
- Establish a trust-based relationship with the client to best articulate and deliver value-adding work to their organization.
- Quickly develop a robust understanding of the client’s business including where they are today and where they want to go.
- Deliver an organization’s purpose and ambitions by aligning business strategy with the company’s human capital strategy and help ensure that the organization positively embraces the changes required to meet the ambitions.
- With the Client Director, help unleash leadership capabilities by ensuring strong collaboration and a healthy culture and leverage their individual strengths through self- and team-awareness.
- Help align structure, define roles, competencies and processes and ensure singular accountability. Diagnose if the right people are in the right seats to deliver the company’s objectives.
- Coach Consulting Associates as well as Clients
Who You'll Work With
You will work with client leadership across a wide range of industries and sizes, helping them articulate their human capital strategies. In each client project, you will work with a consulting team consisting of a client director, consulting associate or project manager, and subject matter experts (as needed). You will also work with the Business Unit Head for Organization Transformation to leverage and improve existing Acumen IP for client needs.
Qualifications
- Proven Strategic Thinking: 5+ years professional work experience in an HR/People department leading and executing successful vision-mission-values workshops, organization re-design and leadership transformation initiatives. The ability to identify issues and ruthlessly prioritize strategies is paramount.
- Communication and Integration: Excel in clear and concise written, verbal, visual communication, confidently engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Able to translate and integrate complex information into clear, actionable insights and next steps in the client’s language.
- Robust Analytical and Process Architecture Skillset: Able to structure ambiguous problems, quickly grasp the complexities of diverse business landscapes, and map out a robust, integrated process for strategy development according to the client’s context.
- Bias for Action: Strong track record of executional excellence. Able to move teams into action and ensure alignment to strategies and goals.
- Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally.
- Agility and Flexibility: A high threshold for ambiguity and ability to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs.
- Multinational company experience considered a valuable asset.
